Founder’s Story
We are Akanksha Bhatli and Shweta Singh, marketing professionals turned entrepreneurs. While growing up in the heartland of Chikankari, we noticed a big gap in the market for non-traditional and contemporary silhouettes—something that could be a part of our everyday wardrobes.
Our brand Amhara, was created to fill this gap with the philosophy at the heart of our designs. We aim to craft new-age thoughtful silhouettes that blend the preciousness of the old with the new, and evoke both effortless ease and a sense of individuality.
